Children's Home Society of Idaho, The Speedy Foundation and the Boise School District, Presents Empowering Events with Renowned Therapist, Dr. Skinner, on April 18th, 2024 

On April 18th, 2024 we are proud to host two impactful events led by Dr. Skinner, a distinguished Marriage & Family Therapist with over two decades of experience in improving mental health. Dr. Skinner's innovative methods, backed by extensive research and over 250,000 assessments, have made him a respected figure in the field.

The morning event, titled Attachment Professional Development Training, is designed for mental health clinicians seeking to enhance their skills. Hosted in collaboration with The Speedy Foundation, this training offers a unique opportunity to earn 3 CE Credits. Dr. Skinner will delve into attachment connections, providing valuable insights and practical approaches derived from his vast experience. Coffee and pastries will be available to kickstart this engaging session. Early Bird registration is open until March 1st, offering attendees the chance to participate for $75, with the fee rising to $100 after the deadline.

Evening Event: Parent's Night - "How Attachment Connections Can Help with Suicide Prevention"

In the evening, parents are invited to join Dr. Skinner for an informative and supportive session focused on "How Attachment Connections Can Help with Suicide Prevention." This free event, hosted by Children's Home Society of Idaho, The Speedy Foundation, and Boise School District, aims to empower parents with knowledge and therapeutic support for their child's mental health. The evening kicks off with a Community Resource Booths session at 5:30 p.m., followed by the keynote address from Dr. Skinner at 6:00 p.m. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Childcare is available for parents attending the event.
