FYI Children's Mental Health Idaho host talks with Shannon Decker from the Speedy Foundation about Shannon's own lived experience with the suicide of friends and family, the messages she received from her communities, and the impact it made on her. Her passion for providing resources and education to contribute to the prevention of suicide shows through. She will provide us with great questions to help you evaluate risk factors and urge us to take steps to have tough conversations with our youth about this lifespan issue.
