Postvention Training
A live virtual training on suicide postvention
Death by suicide is always an extremely traumatic loss. It is a crisis. It has severe and emotional psychological effects. It is always accompanied by complicated and prolonged bereavement. The response after a death by suicide feel almost impossible, but there is a path forward. This training was created to help to understand suicide as well as the public health concerns that surround this tragic death of despair.
This training is based on the work developed by the Nevada Office of Suicide Prevention, thought leadership from folks in the field of suicidology, and parts of Speedy's story.
